"I was never confirmed to attend. Of course, I would have enjoyed returning to that wonderful city and being a part of this amazing event, but my focus is on my health and well-being," she wrote to her fans.
Lohan is really maknig an effort this time around to put her partying days behind her and stay on the sober track.

Daily News' Confidenti@l reported she was slated to attend a post-VMAs bash on Aug. 25, where she’d pose on the red carpet and would be required to stay until the wee hours of the night.
She was offered $10,000 for the appearance but turned it down lat the last minute after having a heart-to-heart with her coach, who advised her that partying was not the best idea.
“She was all set to go, and her coach called last-minute to say she wasn’t going to be able to make it,” a source said.
